Dear Patriots,
After much thought and prayer, as well as a sincere desire to serve my community, I firmly believe that I am being called to the position of the 207th Judicial District Judge.
Although I am originally from Stockdale, Texas, where I grew up on a ranch, over the last 14 years, I have set my roots in this area - where I have raised my family, made amazing friends and found a place of like-minded individuals to call home.
I believe we live in a time where our values as conservatives are threatened. And when the time approaches for the changing of the guard, it is the responsibility of the next generation to hold fast to those values and beliefs and to step up and take on the responsibility of ensuring those beliefs continue to be manifest in our community. It is my goal to ensure this for our community.
I believe in the freedoms embodied by the Constitution and the rights of citizens to a limited government. Judges are meant to ensure that those freedoms remain and to uphold them - not to legislate from the bench. As a conservative, I will uphold these truths and bring conservative leadership and integrity to the bench.
I have experience in both civil and criminal matters and have worked for both large firms and for myself. For the last several years, I have focused primarily on family law matters which involve children and take up a vast majority of civil cases in our District Courts.
This has led me to be a firm supporter of organizations such as CASA , Communities in Schools and the Comal County Crisis Center which help children in less than ideal circumstances have a voice in the system. And while it is not the Court’s prerogative to advocate, it is the Court’s responsibility to ensure that the best interests of our children are met – which is a fundamental goal of each of these organizations and myself.
As I step out of my role as a private citizen and into the role of a public servant, I humbly ask for your support. As a mother, daughter, attorney and entrepreneur, I know that I am the right candidate, at the right time, for this position. And with that, I humbly ask for your vote in the March 1, 2022 Republican Primary.
